According to a confidential source, Republican Dallas County Commissioner Ken Mayfield has promised Michael Orozco that he will be appointed District Five Constable for the remainder of Constable Mike Dupree’s term if Constable Dupree is removed from office. Orozco ran in the 2006 Republican Primary for District 3 Constable, coming in third. Ben Adamcik won the Republican Primary and the office since there was not a Democratic candidate in the District 3 race.

Mayfield has also promised the Chief Deputy’s position to Leslie Glenn Willie, who is a party to these actions, according to our informant.  Willie was fired from an off-duty job at Carnival Supermarkets for sexually harassing female employees, some of whom were minors. We have published pornographic photographs, which if not modified, show Willie — in uniform — in compromising positions with women alleged to be strippers.

The informant also tells us that Leo Armendariz, party to another action against Constable Dupree, has been promised the position of Lieutenant in the District 5 Constable’s office by Commissioner Mayfield if Constable Dupree is removed.

Michael Orozco is not a party to any of the actions against Constable Dupree. However, we wonder how Republican Commissioner Mayfield could promise positions in “Constable” Orozco’s office without his consent.
