Mavericks and Cowboys
Maverick (noun):: an unbranded calf, cow, or steer, esp. an unbranded calf that is separated from its mother. Synonym: stray. Mavericks are the stray cows that cowboys wrangle to keep them with the herd. George Bush has wrangled McCain. Why would we want to trade Cowboy Bush for his maverick?
